摘　　要：介绍了矢量算法在计算机辅助模具设计中的应用。利用刃口某条边的两个顶点,以及与这条边相邻的前、后两条边的另外两个顶点,组成 4 个矢量,并求出两个向量积。根据两向量的方向来判断该边的磨损变化情况,成功解决了计算机辅助模具设计中凸模和凹模刃口尺寸的自动计算和标注问题。The application of cross product of vectors for computer aided die design is introduced. Four vectors are defined with two end points and the other two end points of the adjacent edges. Two cross products are calculated with the four vectors. The wearing of the edge can be determined on the directions of cross products. Dimensioning and tolerancing of punch and die are thus automated for computer aided die design.
