摘　　要：　邓小平的"猫论"强调行动、注重效果、提倡开拓进取,体现了求真务实、勇于创新的现实主义精神。中华民族不乏浪漫的理想、崇高的道德和玄妙的思辨,但也有诸多制约民族发展的权威、传统、习俗、教条及清规戒律。"猫论"对于我们新时期民族精神的凝聚和提升具有特殊意义。Deng Xiao_ping's 'Cat Theory' puts emphasis on taking action, paying attention to the result,recommending pioneering and keeping forging ahead.It reflects the realistic spirit of looking for the truth and being practical,having the courage to bring forth new ideas.Many romantic ideal, lofty morals and mysterious thought of Chinese nation are distinguished,but there are also a great deal of authority,tradition, custom,dogma and outmoded restrictions that have restricted the national development.'Cat Theory' has special significance to the condensing and promoting of national spirit of our new period.
