摘　　要：认为辽河盆地老第三纪火山岩属玄武岩类,这种玄武岩为碱性系列,每期火山活动的晚期存在碱性玄武岩系列与拉斑玄武岩系列的共生。与渤海湾盆地其他地区一样,它们是在稳定的构造环境,即大陆板内由断裂活动引起的喷发,属典型的大陆裂谷玄武岩。The volcanic rocks in Liaohe Basin belong to the kind of basalt. Here the basalts belong to the alkali basalt series, and there is the alkali basalt with the tholeiitic basalt series coexisting on the latter of every stage of volcanic activity. The basalts are the same as Bohai Basin, erupled in a stable tectonic setting with in continent plate and crossed by faults, belonging to continental rift basalt.
