摘　　要：分析了海洋数据的特点,并综述了 XML 在海洋信息中的应用及其意义;介绍了该领域技术的国内外概况;分析适合我国海洋信息的 XML应用技术。In this paper, we analyze the features of oceanographic data, and survey the technology and significance of applying XML to marine information management. Then we introduce the current state of the art in this research area, and discuss the XML's application techniques suitable for efficiently managing oceanographic data in China.
