摘　　要：《日耳曼尼亚志》一书是塔西佗在罗马帝国强盛时期写作的,旨在通过对日耳曼人社会生活中保有的民主、自由精神的描绘,抨击罗马帝制之下出现的暴政与社会弊端,充分体现了作者的爱国主义情怀和强烈的民族忧患意识。因此,维护罗马帝国的统治,是塔西佗写作的真实意图。De Germania was written by Tacitus in the prime of Roman Empire. It was aimed at the invectives of the violent ruling and social malpractice through depiction of the democratic and free spirit in the social life of the Germanic people. It gave a full display of the author's patriotism and intense national sense of suffering. For this reason, the real intention of Tacitus in writing was to maintain the ruling of Roman Empire.
