摘　　要：文章对当代图书馆思想家范并思关于图书馆原理,特别是关于公共图书馆的性质、职能的论述作了评述,并指出范并思的图书馆思想对我国现代图书馆学研究以及公共图书馆事业建设的重要贡献。This paper expounds the public library principle thought of contemporary library thinker Fan Bingsi, expecially concerning the quality and function of public library, and points out construction to the library thought of Fan Bingsi to learn the major contribution of the modern library science research and the public librarianship of our country.
