摘　　要：目前 ,多数据库检索体系结构的信息资源组织都是以信息提供者为中心的。JamesC .French等人提出了一种所谓“个人信息环境”的信息体系结构。本文主要考察和研究这种信息体系结构的相关问题及著名的个性化服务定制系统———Mylibrary @NCState ,并期望我国的信息服务机构能尽快研制出能满足用户需要的个性化服务系统。At present,the organization of information resources in the multi database search architectures is centered on the information providers.James C.French et al put forward an information architecture called Personalized Information Environment(PIE).This paper mainly reviews and discusses the issues concerning this information architecture and the famous individual service [e-mail] author hopes that the information providers in China will be able to put individual service system into operation as soon as possible so as to meet the needs of the end users.
