摘　　要：红脂大小蠹在陕西省韩城市主要以成虫和3～4龄幼虫在油松根部越冬,以成虫越冬的每年发生2代,以3～4龄幼虫越冬的每年1代.该虫的生活史与海拔高度有密切关系,在海拔约840 m的川道地区,各虫态的发生期均比海拔约1 360m的高山地区约早1个月.由于温、湿度和其他因素的影响,该虫发育期不整齐,有世代重叠现象.The studies on the dionomics of Dendroctonus valens show that this pest overwinters mainly as adult or 3~4 larva in roots of pine at Hancheng region in Shaanxi Province. It occurres 2 generations one year by adult overwintering and 1generation one year by larva overwintering. The occurrence is closely related with elevation, at the low elevation region the occurrence is usually one month earlier than that at the high elevation region. Because of the influences by temperature, humidity and other factors, the development of the pest is not uniform, with generation overlapping.
