发展木材工业,促进林业可持续发展

摘　　要：　本文从发展木材工业的七个不同层面,论述了木材工业发展与生态建设和林业可持续发展的关系,指出发展木材工业与生态建设和林业可持续发展是相互依存、相互促进的,不仅可增加林产品供给,还可大量节约木材,保护森林资源,推动林木培育,增加森林资源,有力地支持生态建设,促进林业可持续发展。Developing China's wood industry can have many advantages for China. First of all, it will help improve the efficiency of wood utilization and save forest resources. It will also better( utilize) small diameter trees and forest residues for value-added products, use non-wood material( (agricultural fibers)) for composite products manufacturing to reduce the demand for wood fibers, (develop) new technology for using young plantation materials to replace logs from virgin forests, (promote) tree planting activities at the national level, improve the environment, reduce green-house (effects) and provide funds for sustainable forestry development. If some or all of these suggestions (are implemented), it would advance the development of the wood industry and promote sustainable development of forestry in China.
