摘　　要：草地退化是世界各国普遍面临的重要问题,退化后的草地的恢复与重建成为当前各国重视的焦点和草原学研究的热点之一。综述了退化草地形成的原因及其退化草地的诊断与生物环境指标,讨论了退化草地的特点及其恢复的方法。The degeneration of grassland is the main problem generally confronted to all the countries in the world.This paper briefly reviewed the current research situation on grassland development, the iagnoses to grassland degradation and the biological index. The characteristics of degraded grassland and methods forrestoration were discussed as well.
