摘　　要：SYPHILIS 1S CHARACTERIZED by several clinical stages: primary, secondary, latent and tertiary. Due to the variety of lesions that may present during the second stage, syphilis has its reputation of being the "great impostor." Therefore, delays in its diagnosis and treatment are commonly reported.
