摘　　要：The boat-coffins and single-log coffins are located in No. 58, Shangye 商业 Street, within the first ring road of Chengdu 成都 downtown area. From July 2000 to the beginning of 2001 Chengdu Municipal Institute of Antiquity and Archaeology made an excavation of this site and determined it to be a massive tomb of the early Warring States period. It was selected as one of the top ten great archaeological discoveries in China in 2000 and declared by the State Council as a historical site of the fifth group under special protection within China in July 2001.
