摘　　要：简要介绍了小波包变换的原理和算法 ,用小波与小波包对一幅图像进行了压缩试验。结果表明 ,小波包压缩性能较小波压缩性能好。In this paper,the wavelet packet theory and its transformation were introduced firstly.The author compressed and image with wavelet algorithm and wavelet packet algorithm.The results show that the property of wavelet packet algorithm is better than that of wavelet algorithm.
