摘　　要：本文介绍了日本大阪大学焊接研究所改名为连接及焊接研究所并调整研究体制的情况．面向二十一世纪，连接及焊接研究应建立“闭环制造和维修工艺过程”的新观念和与之相适应的研究体制．This article introduccs that the Welding Rescarch Institutc of Osaka University which was known as JWRI changed its name to the Joining and Welding Research Institare and sestructued its resecarchsystem,presents a new concept of 'cyclic loop of Production and Recovery Process' in joining and welding researches for the 21st century.
