摘　　要：康拉德极其强调“准确用词” ,但在实践中也产生了对语言表达现实的危机感与不信任感 ,这尤其体现在他的两部代表作《黑暗的心》和《吉姆爷》中。康拉德在作品中借助文本自身 ,通过间隔的叙述结构、形似散乱的情节、开放型的结尾、叙述的空白以及人物称谓等方面 ,揭示并探讨了语言交流中存在的问题 。Conrad put great emphasis on le mot juste , but in practice, he himself developed a sense of language crisis and doubted if language could truly reflect reality. In Heart of Darkness and Lord Jim , Conrad took advantage of the texts to reveal and discuss this issue on various levels, such as receding planes of narration, apparently disarranged plot, open ending, narrative gaps, and titles of characters, thus inviting the reader to do an active reading of his works.
