摘　　要：元稹的婚外恋情，诸如元稹始乱终弃，抛弃崔莺莺、另攀高门以及元稹出使东川，与女诗人薛涛形同夫妇、诗歌唱和即是其中较为流行的说法。《元稹年谱》以学术著作的严肃面貌对此加以肯定，以后信从者不少，引用者有人。本文根据当时的第一手资料，对此──加以辩说，还元稹以历史的本来面貌。There are some widespread legends relating the extramarital l oving affairs of Yuan Zhen,such as he commit illegal sexual relation with the beautiful girl Cui Yingying at the beginning and forsook her for crimbing up in the end, and, when he was on the mission to East Sichuan,he got along with the woman poet Xue Tao so closely and intimately as if they were husband and wife.The book Yuan Zhen nianpu,as a scholarly work,confims all this. Therefore, a lot of its readers have been convinced of it,and some one even made reference to it. This article,based on the first-hand materials of that time,makes a careful examination of all this and renders a real description of Yuan Zhen
