环珠江口商时期考古学研究的几个问题  

Some Problems in the Archaeological Study of the Zhujiang River Mouth Area in the Shang Period

摘　　要：Previously the terminal point of the Neolithic culture around the mouth of the Zhujiang River was usually dated to the turn between the Shang and the Zhou periods. This paper argues that the influence of the Shang bronze culture upon this area did happen in the late Shang period, but the aspect and structure of the archaeological culture around the Zhujiang River mouth were already changed at the time corresponding to the phase of the upper Erligang culture. This was due to the influence from the Jiangxi Wueheng cultural complex of the Shang period. The archaeological remains around the Zhujiang River mouth in Shang times display strong distinctive features, constitute a unique local cultural type in southern China and represent an island-type cuhure.Previously the terminal point of the Neolithic culture around the mouth of the Zhujiang River was usually dated to the turn between the Shang and the Zhou periods.
