摘　　要：1993年2～3月,对河北省1990年1月1日～1992年12月31日3年中孕产妇死亡率最高的4个项目县的妇幼保健服务调查资料中的定性调查部分,重点对产前检查和住院分娩的资料进行了分析,探讨了“专题小组讨论”定性调查方法在妇幼保健应用科研中的具体做法,评价了该方法在其中的重要作用。文中还对调研地区产前检查和住院分娩的现状及改进措施进行了讨论。Application of qualitative investigation in maternal and child health service research is evalu-ated in this paper.The method has been used in the investigation of pregnant and lying—inwomen's mortality in 4 countist projects of Hebei Province since 1990.The authors think thatqualitative investigation plays an important role in countist projects management.In addition,some other related problems are also discussed in this paper.
