摘　　要：乡镇图书馆离农民最近,21世纪的乡镇图书馆在发展农业经济,提高农民整体素质方面大有用武之地。各级政府应重视乡镇图书馆建设。Village and town libraries are close to the peasant.In the 21st century,they play a very important part in the develop-ment of rural economy and the improve ment of the peasant ' s qualities and talents.The governm ents at all levels should pay attention to the construction of libraries of villages and tow ns.
