摘  要:As a common phenomenon in ancient and medieval society and a special form of social classes,social order is a key point to the study of social structure.In the 7 th century,the centralized state under the emperor was established in Japan,its legal system was inherited from the Sui and Tang dynasties of China,with which the social class system was founded as well,that is the so\|called “ liang\|jian status”(honor\|humble status).This article will analyze three main orders under the “ liang\|jian status”,i.e.nobility,citizen and humble status in order to reveal inequality in ancient Japanese society.As a common phenomenon in ancient and medieval society and a special form of social classes,social order is a key point to the study of social structure.In the 7 th century,the centralized state under the emperor was established in Japan,its legal system was inherited from the Sui and Tang dynasties of China,with which the social class system was founded as well,that is the so\|called “ liang\|jian status”(honor\|humble status).This article will analyze three main orders under the “ liang\|jian status”,i.e.nobility,citizen and humble status in order to reveal inequality in ancient Japanese society.
