摘　　要：本文应用主成份分析和逐步回归分析技术对中小学学生身体发育指标主成份与三项素质指标的回归关系进行了分析研究,取得较为满意的回归效果,从而为选拔有关体育人材提供了一定的参考依据。This paper introduces application of principal component analysis in comprehensive evaluation of body quality of pupils and middle school students in Shijiazhuang region. The cumulative contribution of the first principal components could reach as high as 97%, which were drawn from 7 body build indices : vital capacity,height, sitting height, weight, chest circumference, biacromical width and bicristal width. The regression equations of 3 body quality indices on 4 principal components were given. The results indicated that principal component analysis can be used for selection of athelet.
