首次发现锰副硅灰石

摘　　要：锰副硅灰石是副硅灰石一个新变种矿物,为国内外首次发现。产于我国内蒙古矽卡岩型铅锌矿床中。矿物属于单斜晶系,空间群C_(2h)~5-P2_(1/c),晶胞参数a=1.47213,b=0.70489,c=0.69055nm,β=95.827°±0.03,V=0.71289nm^3,Z=12。化学分子式为(Ca_(0.75)Mn_(0.19)Fe_(0.068))_(1.00)Si_(1.00)O_3,属于硅灰石亚族矿物。Manganoparawollastonite is a new variety of mineral discovered in a skarn Pb-Zn deposit in Inner Mongolia, China. Associated minerals are: garnet manganohedenbergite, sphalerite, galena, etc. The mineral is columnar, radial or granular in shape, measuring about 0.03～0.12mm in size. It is colorless with a glassy luster. Hardness (Vickers) =300～350kg/mm^2, specific gravity =2.99 g/cm^3. Optical properties: α= 1.631～1.635, β= 1.629～1.633, γ= 1.614～1.621 and γ ∧c=38°±, (-) 2V=35°～40°.Electron microprobe analysis gave: SiO_2 46.14%～51.01%, CaO 33.17%～36.95%, MnO 10.20%～13.26% and FeO 3.61%～4.61%. The empirical formula is (Ca_(0.75)Mn_(0.10)Fe_(0.068)_(1.00)Si_(1.00)O_3. The ideal formula is (Ca, Mn)SiO_3.X-ray analysis shows it to be of monoclinic system. The cell parameters are: a= 1.47213, b = 0.70489, c=0.69055nm, β =95.827°, V= 0.71289nm^3, Z= 12, space group C_(2h)~5-P2_1/c. The strongest, lines in the powder diffraction pattern are: 3.78(44), 3.44(58), 3.33(100), 3.26(81), 3.22(64), 3.04(77), 3.00(89) 2.27 (46), 1.74(33). On the IR absorption curve appear the absorption bands at 1080.0, 943.0, 908.0, 654.0, 563.0 and 462.0cm^(-1).
