摘　　要：网格编码调制（ＴＣＭ）是近年来纠错编码领域取得的重大进展之一，它对于提高信道利用率、可靠地进行数字通信具有重大的意义。本文介绍了ＴＣＭ的特点及其发展概况。在ＴＣＭ的思想启迪下，提出了对数字通信系统组合优化或整体优化的概念。Trellis coded modulation(TCM)is one of the greatest achivements in the field of errorcorrect-ing codes in the last decade,which has importance significance for raising the channal utilization ratio and engaging in digital communication reliably.In the paper,the characteristic and the general developing situa-tion of TCM are introduced,in the enlightenment from the thought of TCM,the idea of optimization for the parts association of the whole digital communication systems is advanced.
