中忻1、2、3号杨树新品种的选育研究

摘　　要：经５年试验研究，培育出了生长快、材质好，具有较强抗虫能力和早期速生特性的３个杨树新品种──中忻１、２、３号，其各项测树指标均超过我国“北方型”杨树良种群众杨。新品种立木材积生长量较群众杨提高５８．５％～１１７％；在抗蛀干害虫能力上，中忻３号较群众杨虫害率和虫害指数分别降低２３．３％和５；３个新品种在海拔１２００ｍ、最低气温达－３０．１℃条件下，未发现冻害。其经济、社会和生态效益十分显著。Three new poplar varieties with characteristics of high quality timber,strong resistance against insect pest and fast growth in early period were breededthrough five-years-study. They were Zhongxin No.1,2,3.All growth indice ofthese new varieties exceeded those of 'northern type poplar varieties-Populusx'Popularis'.The volume groWth of new varieties was 58. 5-117 percent biggerthan that of Populus×' Popularis'.In respect of resistance against borer, theinsect pest percent and index of new varieties were 23.3 and 5 smaller than thoseof Populus×'Popularls'respectively.On the altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level with the lowest temperature 30.℃,no frost bitten tree was found.Therefore the economic,social and ecological benefits of new varieties were highlysignificant.
