摘 要:荧光灯虽是一种高效室内照明光源,但因灯内含汞最终将对环境保护造成危害.本文探索了在荧光灯中不充汞的可能性.对荧光灯发光效率η的研究表明,它是放电的紫外辐射效率ηuv、荧光粉的紫外-可见转换效率ηf、荧光粉的视见效率Vs和常数Km的乘积.在研究了荧光灯中的工作气体所必需具备的条件后,发现可用氦-氙或氖-氙混合气体放电代替氩-汞放电制造无汞荧光灯.这种放电能高效率发射氙共振辐射,辐射波长为147.6nm,处于真空紫外波段.估计不含汞的氦-氙放电荧光灯的光效可达21~26lm/W.Fluorescent lamps are the most efficient light sources for indoor lighting, but they may eventually be in danger of the enviroment because of the mercury contained. This paper is to explore the possibilities of eliminating mercury in fluorescent lamps. The luminous efficacy of the fluorescent lamps is closely investigated. It is found that the luminous efficacy η is equal to the product of the ultraviolet radiation efficiency of the discharge η the ultravolet-visible conversion efficiency of the fluorenscent phosphors η ,the luminous efficiency of the visible radiation of the phosphors Vs and the constant Km The requirements for filling gas of the fluorescent lamps are exemined. It is suggested that helium-xenonmixture discharge, which may emit high efficient vacuum ultraviolet xenon resonance radiation λ=147.6 nm, could be used to replace the argon-mercury discharge in fluorescent lamps. It is estimated that the luminous efficacy of the proposed helium-xenon discharge fluorescent lamps might reach 21~26 lm/W.
