新发现的周口店晚更新世洞穴地层及哺乳动物群研究

摘　　要：本文依据新发现的晚更新世洞穴地层剖面，进行了年代学及哺乳动物化石方面的研究。年代学综合测定结果为距今１２～１．９万年，这是周口店地区迄今发现的最为完整的晚更新世洞穴地层剖面，根据堆积物中所含的哺乳动物化石特征，进行了生态、种类方面的研究，建立了一个新的哺乳动物群─—东岭子动物群。The newly discovered speleothem has been described systematically and named as“Xiangyang Formation(Q_(3x))”in this paper. It is a speleothem dated to be 0. 12-0.019 MaB.P. ,according to paleomagnetic, thermoluminescent and uranium-series dating data.This is the best and most continuous Late Pleistocene cave strata in the area. The mam-mal fossils found in the speleothem have been analysed on the basis of ecologic environ-ments,types and ages. A new mammal fauna---Donglingzi fauna has been set up. It is afauna of Early and Middle Pleistocene between Zhoukoudian and upper cave faunas. Theauthors have provided new data about cave strata and mammal fossils for Quaternary re-search in Zhoukoudian ,Beijing.
