摘　　要：本文讨论的是一个面向对象的多介质数据库管理系统。它能对文本、图形、图象、声音等多种介质形式的数据进行有效的管理和维护。文中介绍了系统的一些概念、设计目标、实现手段以及模型上的一些问题。This paper discussed an object-oriented multimedia database management system, which can suport all types of digitally representable data, such as text, images and voice, and the all type of data also can be managed and maintained effectively. In this paper some concept designed goal methods and models of this systems are presented.
