The results of three trials with CNS(cutting soaking,spraying andirrigation)showed that it could significantly increase the growth of poplar cuttings i.e. theheight increased by 5.3%～11.2%and the ground diameter 5.7%～19%. The effective con-centration of CNS for poplar was 4～10 ppm.
