摘 要:用射频感应加热引上法生长了直径为18~20mm,长60~100mm的掺铬镁橄榄石(Cr:Mg_2SiO_4)单晶。本文介绍生长Cr:Mg_2SiO_4单晶的工艺概况,给出光谱、激光和晶体缺陷分析的数据。用独特的生长工艺和原料处理方式,可使晶体中Cr ̄(4+)的浓度大大提高,从而改善其激光性能,在国内首次获得了掺铬镁橄榄石的可调谐激光输出。当输入能量为70mJ时,输出为11.5mJ,调谐范围为1167~1332nm.用BBO晶体倍频也获得了584~666mm的可调谐输出。Chromium doped forsterites ( Cr : Mg_2SiO_4)have been grown by induction heating Cz methed. Some data on the spectral determination and laser performance as well as the growth technique and analysis results on the inclusion in the crystal are presented.Using a unique growth technique and raw material processing, laser quality crystais with high concentration of Cr ̄(4+) have been obtained.Laser testing has been operated using Q-switch Nd : YAG laser as a pumping source. The maximum output energy is 11.5mJ for 70mJ input energy.The laser wavelength can be tuned from 1167nm to 1332nm. The seond harmonic generation with BBO crystal as a frequency doubler results in 584nm to 666nm laser beam.
