摘　　要：本文介绍了新产品硬赤泥－ＰＶＣ给水管的生产工艺流程，主要生产设备和质量控制条件；阐述了其性能特点及抗光热老化性的机理所在；通过对比，论证了该新产品的优越性及显著的经济和社会效益；予示了硬ＲＭＰ给水管广阔的市场前景．This paper gives an introduction of technical process of production of a new product -rigid red mud-PVC pipe for water supply, and main equipments for the production and the condition of quality controlling are introduced;the characteristics and the properties of the new product are described, and' the mechanism of the resistance of weathering and heating ageing is explained; by comparison, both economy and society benefits of the mew product are expounded; the broad market prospect of red mud plastic pipe for water supply is predicted.
