摘  要:通过研究海岸带不同沉积环境所形成的现代沉积物中镁铝含量比——m值的变化特征,以验证m值对沉积环境的分辨效果。Thr Mg/Al-ratio in modern sediment——the m-index [100(MgO/Al_2O_3)] along Fujian coastal zone, from Shacheng Bay in the north to Shaoan Bay in the south, shows the following characterisitics: (1) the mean value of m-index decreases, in the order of open bays>semi-enclosed bays without or with little fresh water input>bays with rivulet runoff>estuaries; (2) the m-index increases seawards in estuaries and from rivulet inflow to bay mouth in bays with rivulet runoff; (3) in the case without fresh water influence, the m value in areas of straight coast increases seawards within a certain range; (4) in estuarines and bays receiving rivulet runoff, the m value in the intertidal zone, where the sediment is mainly affected by flood-tidal water and intertidal evaporation, is slightly higher than that offshore. The above characteristics indicate that the m-index can reflect the changes of salinity in the sedimentation environments, and to a certain extent, the influence of terrigenous materials on sediments as well.
