摘　　要：我国的网络管理工作自1986年开始以来,已取得了实质性进展,网管第一、二期工程已正式通过部级鉴定,并在此基础上进行了新的试点。本文介绍了我国自行开发的网络运行支持软件的功能、特点,与国外的差距,以及网管工作所面临的挑战和机遇;特别提出了应建立专门的软件研究开发实体,形成软件资源生产力,以满足电信网络管理之需求。The telecommunications netvvork management(TNM) work in China has made substantial progress since its com-mencement in 1 986. The first and second phase of the network management project have officially passed the ministerial appraisai, and more new pilot projects have been launched. This paper describes the self-developed network operation and sup-port software(OSS) in terms of functions. characteristics, differ-ence from foreign software and challenges and opportunities. A proposal is made for establishing a specialized softvvare research and development entitv to form the software resources produc-tive forces and meet the requirements for TNM.
