摘　　要：通过对高等教育索引编纂方法的研究，确定以《中图法》为蓝本编制了《高等教育分类表·高等教育主题词表》，并论述该表特点和编制方法，以及高等教育信息索引编纂方法上的科学突破点。On the basis of the study on the information index in the field of higher education in China, the papers propose to compile the Sketch Table for Classification and Subject Terms or Higher Education in China by mainly ref- erring to the Book-Classifying Methods in China's Library. The paper then discusses the features and detailed compiling methods of the said sketch table as well as its break through in compilation.
