摘　　要：随着网络技术的快速发展,在未来网络中,基于IP应用的传输将占据优势地位。与此同时,波分复用设备已很成熟,能提供很大的网络容量(太比特网络传输),满足信息量不断增长的需要。文中描述了用于光因特网(IPoverWDM)的基于管理体系策略。目前,基于网络管理的策略问题已成为研究热点,国际工程任务组一直在这一领域进行深入研究,为网络的IP管理提供一种方法。基于策略管理的目标就是应用集成管理系统,便于系统管理、网络管理、管理应用之间的协作。With the fast development of network technology, it has become apparent that the transportation of IP based applications will be the dominant factor in future networks. At the same time equipment for wavelength division multiplexing(WDM) has matured sufficiently to provide very high capacity networks(terabit transport networks) for the transport of ever-increasing amount of information. This paper describes the policy based management architecture devised for management of Optical Internet(IP over WDM)network. The policy problem based network management(PBNM)has been a 'hot' research topic at present. The IETF has been doing in depth research all along in this area in order to provide a means for managing IP based networks. The aim of policy-based management is to apply integrated management system so that system management, network management, and application management can work together in coordination.
