摘　　要：南水北调工程是缓解我国北方地区水资源严重短缺、优化配置水资源的重大战略性基础设施。丹江口大坝加高工程则是中线工程的关键,也是确保“一库清水向北流”的关键。而库区人口生态环境现状及未来发展势必影响“一库清水”,在全面建设小康社会的背景下,社会经济发展使得在丹江口库区实施生态移民成为可能。South-to-North Water Transfer Project is thesignificant strategic infrastructure to mitigateserious shortage of water resource in NorthernChina and optimize the allocation of waterresource. The Danjiangkou Dam HeighteningProject is the key of the Central Line Projectand also the key to ensure 'a reservoir of cleanwater flows to the north'. Nevertheless, the present situation of ecological environment forthe population in the reservoir region and fu-ture development certainly will affect 'a reser-voir of clean water'. In the background of com-prehensive construction of moderately well offsociety, socioeconomic development makes itpossible to carry out ecological resettlement inDanjiangkou Reservoir Region.
