摘 要:本文根据 1998年的南海调查资料,对南海表层沉积物总砷含量的分布特征进行了探讨.南海表层沉积物总砷含量介于 (0. 8 ~19. 0)×10-6 (m/m,干重,下同 )之间,变异系数(为 0. 52)较大.近岸海域沉积物总砷含量主要受陆源输入的影响;在中部远离大陆的海域,沉积物的类型和组分成为其主要的影响因素.因此,在大陆坡两侧,沉积物总砷含量与粒度之间分别呈现出不同的相关性.南海东北部和中部海区沉积物总砷含量在过去的 20a中保持在较稳定的水平,且东北部的含量总体上高于中部.Survey data got in 1998 were used to discuss the distribution of total arsenic in the surface sediment from the South China Sea. Its content is between (0.8~19.0)×10^(-6)(m/m) with greater variant coefficient (0.52), which is influenced by the input of terrestrial material in the nearshore area and controlled primarily by the type and ingredient of the sediment in the middle part of the sea area. Accordingly, the correlation between the content of total arsenic and the granularity of sediment is different from each other for the both sides of the continental slope. In the past 20 years, the content of total arsenic in the surface sediment of the northeast and middle areas of the South China Sea keeps stable, and shows higher in the northeast area than in the middle area.
