摘　　要：肚兜是中国传统内衣的一种名称,它代表着内涵丰厚的中国民俗文化。肚兜除了掩盖身体、保护身体以外,它的平面图案中隐含着丰富的文化内涵,具有典型的象征意义,始终与中国传统文化联系在一起,是中国服饰文化的一种特色。随着中国文化日益受到世界的关注,肚兜这种典型的东方传统服装形式再次出现在西方世界时尚潮流中,并以一种流行服饰的形式出现在女性的衣柜中。halter top, used to be an article of the traditional Chinese woman’s underwear, represents, to a certain degree, the Chinese folk culture, which has a profound connotation. In addition to its function of covering and protecting breasts and belly on women’s body, halter top connotes rich Chinese culture in its plane patterns. These patterns bear typical symbolic significance and embody rich Chinese traditional culture. Though small in size, halter top possesses its own distinctive feature in Chinese garment culture. With the increasing popularity of the Chinese culture in the world, halter top, one of the typical forms of the traditional oriental garment, has restored its past glory and joined in the world trend of fashion. Meanwhile, it has found its way into woman’s wardrobes as a piece of garment in vogue.
