摘　　要：一部艺术史,只有史没有论会使人感到材料堆砌,枯燥乏味;而只有论没有史则又恰似无源之水、无本之木,给人以空泛之感。只有史论结合,才能显示史实的丰富和理论的价值。而史论结合正是《中国解放战争时期舞蹈史》的突出特点。这部舞蹈史还独具特色,它鲜明地体现出时代性、群众性与可读性,且具有一定的广度和深度,从中使读者了解到整个舞蹈发展的全貌。If a book of Art History without comment only has history , it is surely uninteresting, dry and dull. But if a book of Art History without history only has comment , it is absolutely empty . The abundance of historical events and the value of theory lie in the combination of history and comment , whereas the combination of history and comment is just the main character of The History of Dance in the Period of China's Liberation. The distinctive book of history of dance embodies the times , the masses and the readability . Its depth and broadness can make the readers understand the full view of the development of the dance.
