摘　　要：都市圈是日本城市化进程和城市发展的主要模式。近年来日本和其他国家学者从都市圈内部的产业关联与分工合作关系、产业结构变动与人口流动比率、产业集聚与城市扩张等方面对日本都市圈的规模、结构等演进过程进行了多方面研究,都市圈的扩展与产业结构演进、企业集聚、人口流动等存在互动关系。同时都市圈的发展也导致日本区域经济发展的极度不均衡。Metropolitan circles are the main pattern of Japan’s urbanization and city development. In the recent years, the scholars of Japan and other countries have conducted studies of the evolution of the scale and structure of Japan’s metropolitan circles in various perspectives such as the relationships of labor division, inter-industry connections and cooperation, the link between industry structure changes and population movement, and the connection between industry clustering and city expansion within metropolitan circles. Obvious interactive relationships are found to exist between the development of metropolitan circles, the change of industry structure, the clustering of industries, and the movement of population. At the same time, the development of the metropolitan circles have caused serious unbalance in the development of the regional economy of Japan.
