摘　　要：介绍了地理信息系统 (GIS)的发展和应用,从燃气紧急事件管理的 5个阶段出发,阐述了GIS对提高城市燃气事故应急反应能力的作用,讨论了GIS开发平台的选择和数据准备。The development and application of geographic information system (GIS) are introduced. The role of GIS in improvement of emergency responsiveness for city gas accidents is expounded from 5 steps of gas emergency management. The selection of development platform of GIS and the data preparation are discussed.
