摘　　要：在分析了现有视频监控系统的优缺点之后 ,提出了一种基于嵌入式系统的网络数字视频监控系统的设计与实现方法。该系统以以太网为依托 ,由远端和中心两部分组成。远端基于嵌入式系统 ,并运行Vx Works实时操作系统 ,可以实时地完成视频的采集和压缩 ,然后通过以太网使用UDP IP协议将压缩数据传给中心。中心基于通用平台 ,并运行Windows操作系统 ,在接收到远端传来的压缩码流后解压缩 ,然后显示出来。A design and implementation of the networked digital video monitoring system based on embedded system is described after an analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the existing video monitoring system.The system consists of two parts:the remote end and the center.The remote end,based on Embedded System and VxWorks,performs video capture and coding at real time.Then it uses UDP/IP protocols to send the compressed data to the center on Ethernet.The center,based on universal computers,decodes the compressed stream after receiving it and displays it.
