青岛产浮游性蓝藻一新种—马克西束毛藻^(a))(Trichodesmium maccii)的培养

摘　　要：束毛藻(Trichodesmium)是一种外洋性浮游蓝藻，它由许多藻丝聚集成束状藻团而得名。束毛藻最初由Ehrenberg(1830)创立，当时公有一种红海束毛藻T．erythraeum。Gomont(1893)在修正颤藻科Oscizlatoriaceae的论述中，首次承认了这个属，并且描述了3个种：A new species of filamentous planktonic blue-green algae designated as Trichodesmium maccii, n. sp. isolated from waters of the Qingdao coast is successfully cultured in f/2 medium of Guillard (1972). Its characteristics,which are different from those of the four known species of Trichodesmium as follows:Trichome, purplish red, free swimming or in masses, straight or slightly curved, 10-20nm broad, 3-8mm long, not constricted at the cross walls, with rounded, slightly attenuated or clavate tips. Cell 3/4 as long as broad, just before dividing up to 1-1/5- as long as broad.The type culture MACC-Y0225 is maintained in the Micro-Algae Culture Center of Shandong College of Oceanology, Qingdao, China.
