摘  要:用散斑频谱相关技术与自行研制的图象采集处理系统研究金属材料的损伤过程,初步试验结果表明,效果良好,方法可行.UP to now. to the authors best knowledge, there does not exist in the open literature a good and effective way for accurately forecasting the formation of small crack in its early sarge. Damage determination of metal materials with correlation technique of laser speckle spectra via an image acquisition and processing system designed and made by the authors is proposed in this paper.In the fatigue test of spesimens, correlation coefficient decreases gradually with increasing number of cycles, implying a slow growth of damage accumulation at notch tip. When the coefficient begins dropping rapidly,a macro crack is formed. The number of cycles corresponding ic the starting point of fast dropping is defined as crack initiation life. The crack can be observed visually shortly after crack initiation life is reached. Thus, formation of a crack can be predicted at the early stage.The features of optical measurement are non-contact. whole field image, higher accuracy and sensitivity. A personal computer suffices to make process of damage determination with the authors'self-made equipment automatized and to ensure higher accuracy as well.Results of experiment show that this technique is effective and feasible.
