摘　　要：在分析已有评价理论和模型的基础上 ,建立了城市可持续发展评价指标体系以及评价模型 ,进而对郑州市的可持续发展状况做出了评价 ,并与上海市、西安市进行了横向比较 ,得到与实际情况一致的结果 :上海属于强可持续发展水平 ,郑州和西安均属于中可持续发展水平 ,表明该评价模型具有一定的科学实用性 .Based on analyzing the existing evaluation theory and model, a more scientific evaluation index system of urban sustainable development and evaluation model are structured, and the actualities of Zhengzhou's sustainable development is evaluated. Finally Zhengzhou's actualities of sustainable development is compared with Shanghai's and Xi′an's, and the conclusion shows that Shanghai belongs to the strong sustainable development, Zhengzhou and Xi′an belongs to the middling level. This is consistent with the known facts.
