摘　　要：　以青年毛泽东读书学习为切入点,通过追寻一代伟人毛泽东青年时代读书学习的足迹,探求毛泽东走向成功的内在驱动力。毛泽东一生嗜书如命,读书是他成为世界伟人的必不可少的条件。文中对青年毛泽东为什么选择社会科学作为主攻方向,这与他的成功有什么关系等问题作了有价值的理性思考,给人启迪。阐述了青年毛泽东读书学习的两种境界:第一种境界明确了读书目的,解决了"为什么读书"的问题;第二种境界解决了"读什么书"才能实现目的的问题。This paper researches, from the angle of the readings Mao Zedong did in his youth, into the intrinsic driving force of his success in revolutionary career. Mao had a very strong liking for reading, and reading paves the way for his great success. The article probes into the reasons why Mao specialized in social sciences as well as the relationship between this specialization and his success. The focus of the paper is put on the two learning realms of Mao in his youth. One is the purpose of his reading (read for what?) and the other is the selection of books (what to read so as to realize the revolutionary goal?).
