摘　　要：作者有感于本刊今年第三期贾桂华等人文章的发表,作为一个局内人,论述了这个术语混乱的一些问题,作了现状和历史回顾,阐述了"科技情报"正名为"科技信息"的过程和原因。Author analyzes the reason of concept confusion for the term 'scientific and technical intelligence' and 'scientific and technical information', reviews the history and present condition of the two terms.Meanwhile he explains the process and reason of 'scientific and technical intelligence' being replaced by 'scientific and technical information'.
