摘　　要：楚民族是中国先秦时期长江中游地区的一个勤劳、睿智、勇敢的民族 ,在长期的生存与发展中 ,形成了特征鲜明的民族精神。本文充分运用文献记载和考古资料并将二者相互参验 ,对楚民族精神进行了系统深入的考察 ,这对我们弘扬和培育民族精神 ,加强“三个文明”建设 ,乃至实现中华民族的伟大复兴 。The race of Chu is a diligent, farsighted and brave one, living in the region of midland along Changjiang River, belonging to the period of Pre-Qin dynasty of China, which formed the fresh and clear ethos during the long period of its development and existence. And, this text conducts an investigation into the ethos of Chu deeply and systematically, making full use of literature records and archaeological materials, and consulting and checking the both mutually, which has important historical value and realistic meaning to promote and grow our ethos, to enhance the construction of “three civilizations” and even to realize the great renewal of Chinese nation.
