摘　　要：随着实时应用变得越来越重要,人们希望能在Solaris 等通用操作系统上开发和部署实时应用。对Solaris 8 操作系统的实时能力进行了分析,介绍了一个实时应用实例,提供了丰富的实时特性和良好的实时环境。As real time applications play an increasingly critical role, it is necessary to develope and deploy real time application on some general operating systems such as solaris. The real time capabilities of the solaris 8 operating system are analyzed with a real time application case. The conclusion is that the solaris 8 operating system provides a wealth of features that is key to real time programmers and offers a good real time environment.
