摘 要:用Ubbelohde粘度计观察了一种共聚物型高分子分散剂MCM15的用量及pH值对α-Al2O3低固相含量悬浮体系粘度的影响,并用旋转粘度计测试了不同pH值条件下α-Al2O3高固相含量悬浮体系的粘度特性.结果表明:在低固相含量的情况下,共聚物型分散剂MCM15的最佳用量为0.04%(质量分数),在pH值为0.58~3.76及5.37~12.96的范围内悬浮体系粘度很小且稳定性好;在高固相含量的情况下,在pH=1.28~3.20的酸性区及pH=7.00~12.48的碱性区均可得到固相含量体积分数>58%、低粘度、流动性好的悬浮体系;在pH=12.48,固相含量体积分数为65%时,悬浮体系的粘度为0.88 Pa·s.通过对比低固相含量α-Al2O3悬浮体系的粘度及稀悬浮体系ζ电位随pH值的变化曲线,发现可以通过测量低固相含量α-Al2O3悬浮体系粘度的方法确定添加了分散剂的α-Al2O3颗粒的等电点.The viscosity of aqueous α-Al2O3 suspension in low solid loading with a novel copolymer type dispersant MCM15 was studied as function of pH and dispersant concentration by Ubbelohde viscometer. The viscosity of high solid loading at different pH values was measured using a rotary viscometer. The results indicate that the optimum content of copolymer type dispersant MCM15 in low solid loading is 0.04% (in mass fraction of α-Al2O3). The viscosity of suspensions is small and stable at the pH ranges of 0.58-3.76 and 5.37-12.96. The solid loading above 58% (in volume) with low viscosity can be obtained at a broader pH range of 7-12.48 in basic region and 3.2-1.28 in acidic region. The viscosity of α-Al2O3 suspension is only 0.88 Pa·s at pH = 12.48 and 65% volume fraction of solid loading. Comparing the changes of viscosity for low solid loading of α-Al2O3 suspension vs pH with the zeta potential of dilute solution vs pH, it is found that the isoelectric point (IEP) of α-Al2O3 coated with dispersants can be determined by measuring the viscosity of α-Al2O3 suspension in low solid loading.
