摘　　要：东日本铁路和德国铁路公司在其合作项目的范围内,委托庞巴迪公司运输部开发速度至350km/h的高速转向架并制造样车。为此庞巴迪公司在B5000型轻型结构转向架的基础上,开发了新的TR400型转向架,继而在日本新干线E2系动车组和德国ICE2中间车上进行了试验。Within the scope of the project “co-operation” of Japan Rail East and Deutsche Bahn AG Bombardier Transportation was given the order to develop high speed bogies for a speed up to 350 km/h and to produce prototype vehicles. Bombardier developed the new bogie TR400 based on the light-weight bogie B5000.In Japan the bogies were tested under the high speed multiple unit E 2 and in Germany under a trailer car of ICE 2.
